DENTAL/HEALTH INSURANCE
NFra pays 65% of employee and employee’s dependents cost.
LIFE INSURANCE
NFra provides life insurance for employees at one time’s their salary up to a maximum of $50,000.
PERSONAL TIME OFF (PTO)
Employees are encouraged to use PTO for rest, relaxation and personal pursuits. PTO is available to all eligible employees and can be used for vacation, illness, medical/dental appointments and to care for an ill dependent. The PTO employees receive each year increases with their length of service. One to five years—15 days; five to ten years—20 days; ten to 15 years; 25 days; and over 15 years—30 days.
HOLIDAYS
NFra provides paid holiday time off to all employees. The following nine days will be observed for this purpose:
- New Year’s Day (January 1)
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Third Monday in January)
- Presidents’ Day (Third Monday in February)
- Memorial Day (last Monday in May)
- Independence Day (July 4)
- Labor Day (first Monday in September)
- Thanksgiving and Day following (fourth Thursday in November)
- Christmas (December 25)
JURY DUTY
NFra encourages employees to fulfill their civic responsibilities by serving jury duty. NFra provides two weeks of paid jury duty leave over any two-year period.
MILITARY LEAVE
A military leave of absence will be granted to employees to attend scheduled drills or training or if called to active duty with the US armed services.
PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS, MEMBERSHIPS AND DEVELOPMENT
NFra will reimburse Professional Engineers for the cost of maintaining all NFra required licenses or registrations. Additionally, NFra encourages participation in professional societies.
